Scholarship Programs Newsletter
Summer 2009
Welcome to the OSI Network Scholarship Programs’ Newsletter for Summer 2009, which incorporates all of our 2009 activities in a new concise format. If you have any comments about the newsletter, please contact us at scholar@sorosny.org.
Spring 2009 was marked by a succession of spring conferences, which have brought together grantees to forge new links and reignite existing networks. Most importantly, the conferences have also reinforced OSI’s work by giving our talented and forward-thinking grantees a forum to present their ideas to their peers and the wider OSI community.
The Network Scholarship Programs (NSP) has also been occupied with advances and changes within our work. As well as developing our outreach to all out grantees, alumni, and partners through our website, Scholarship Programs has launched a Facebook fan page to keep people up-to-date on program and wider OSI activities.
This summer marks transitions within the program as well as we say a very heartfelt goodbye to Undergraduate Exchange Program Manager Anne Campbell. Anne is leaving for new challenges after seven years with the program. We sincerely wish her the very best and thank her for all her tireless, passionate work for the exchange program!
The new shortened format will hopefully allow you to locate the topics of most interest to you: please follow the links below which will lead you to an expanded version.
Sincerely,
The Network Scholarship Programs staff
