The last few months have been especially busy and productive for TargetPoint Consulting as we gear up for what promises to be an amazing political year.  Here are just a few of the exciting things we’ve enjoyed since the close of 2009 and the start of 2010:

  1. Being involved in thrilling races, including the Chris Christie campaign in New Jersey, races in Virginia, and engaging campaigns against Card Check and for energy security.
  2. We won a Reed Award for Best Use of Targeting Technology thanks to our work on the New Jersey governor’s race – our brand new SmartTarget product identified voters that were dating Independent candidate Dagget, but that could marry Republican Chris Christie.
  3. TargetPoint CEO Alex Gage was nominated for Political Innovator of the Decade, alongside Joe Trippi, Karl Rove, Ken Mehlman and Markos Moulitsas.
  4. MicroTargeting was nominated for Political Tech Innovation of the Decade, competing against YouTube, texting, Twitter, and Convio donation accounting software.
  5. Chart Wars, a five minute presentation by TPC Research Director Alex Lundry on the political power of data visualizations, went viral, generating more than 30,000 views in the span of one week.
  6. We’ve just re-launched the Michigan Capitol Caucus, a poll of Lansing’s political elite.  The first results of 2010, where we look ahead to the Gubernatorial primaries, are now in.

To stay on top of our latest news you can subscribe to our blog “ToThePoint,” sign up for our email list, follow TPC (and TPC employees) on Twitter, or just email us to schedule a presentation to learn more about all the things we’ve been doing in the off-season to prepare for an epic political year!

All the best,
