News You Can Use The Buzz As you know, Hannah's mydea was to partner with missionaries Jason and Sarah Furrow in Honduras and provide them with a colony of bees.
If you'd like to stay "in the know" about Jason and Sarah's work with their orphanage, here's a link to their blog. (Hopefully we'll see information about their new bee colony soon!)
By the way, please keep Jason and Sarah in your prayers. Last week, a gang of rebels raided the small rural school where Jason and Sarah teach. Several people were shot and killed in the ensuing violence. None of the school children were harmed in the raid. Jason and Sarah are on the cutting edge of what God is doing in Honduras and they need our prayer support. Team Meeting--this Sunday This Sunday after Dialogue we'll be gathering to reflect on all that God has done over the last couple of months at dialogue. We will also being making decisions that will affect our future. Everyone who has a heart for Dialogue is invited to join us.
Here are few things that we will be discussing:- Church Survey--I'd like to produce a survey to gather some honest feedback about Dialogue. I would like it if everyone would come with 2-3 questions that you'd like to see on the survey? What do we need to know?
- "New To You Breakfast"--An idea was presented that we take a Sunday morning and have a "getting to know you" breakfast. Set-up tables instead of rows of chairs. Have table discussions instead of a sermon. Etc. Do you think that is a good idea? How could we pull it off?
- How can we get the word out about dialogue? In the past we've passed out coffee cups, Frisbees, and ramen noodles. The weather will be changing soon and we want to be ready to get out there and make a difference in our community. IDEAS?
Heart Beats We've had a great time hearing your heartbeat. This week we will be wrapping up our dialogue by hearing from Ashlee, Kimberly, and Shawn. Make double extra sure that you are there!
