Excellent! Elderflowers

Excellent! Elderflowers - the first free harvest of the year - it really is the beginning of the season proper. Now that the weather is warming up (!) the hedgerows are bursting with blossoms and the elderflowers will soon be at their best. We have a recipe for the incomparable cordial that can be produced at almost no cost - and how often can you say that these days?

Elderflower Cordial couldn't be easier to make, it takes so little time and effort for a truly stunning result - give it a try, then try and give it! Difficult as you'll want to squirrel it away for summer parties - how about serving at a wedding for a magnificent no alcohol spritzer with sparkling mineral water or soda water?

They are perfect for the Elderflower Cordial, and we have sourced ceramic stoppers this year to make them just that extra bit special.Please, though, do not use them for Elderflower Champagne which is just too fizzy for this type of bottle.
