t.n.a. newsletter vol.4 July 2010 Dear all,
I hope that you are all enjoying summer. The July newsletter from Tomoko Azumi and t.n.a. Design Studio tells you about a book featuring the Supreme Court project, a summer workshop at Vitra Design Workshops in France, and plans for the London Design Festival in September. A book on the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom t.n.a. Design Studio designed the furniture in the court rooms of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom. The project was led by architects Feilden+Mawson and we worked together with Luke Hughes & Co., who also designed the library in the building. The Supreme Court was opened by H.M. the Queen in October 2009 and has been in use since as the highest court in the land. A book on the whole project was launched recently. Together with the history of the building and renovation program, the furniture we designed is featured.

Some parts of the building are open to the public and you can also view hearings in the new court rooms. Information is on the Supreme Court web site, if you click 'Visiting The Court'.
Vitra Design Museum Workshops at Boisbuchet, France We are leading a week long workshop from 25 July, at Vitra Design Museum Workshops in France. Our workshop theme is 'The Secret Life of Plants' and we will closely look at trees and plants, to be inspired by them and create an object in response to them. Inspirational sources could be microscopic structures or cycle of life of a plant - the fruits of the workshop could lead to the structure of a bridge or perhaps a piece of jewellery.

This summer is our third workshop at Boisbuchet and we think it is a fantastic environment to talk and think about design, also meeting with people from all over the world. It seems there are just a few places still available and in case you know anyone who might be interested in, please forward this message. Participation fee and registration is on this page: www.boisbuchet.org
