Short Statured People of Australia - NSW & ACT Branch
There have been a couple of changes to the events listed in the newsletter from earlier this month so we're sending this update to let everyone know what's happening.
Meeting - February 28
Location changed to Narrabeen!
Our next meeting was going to be held at the Bos' near Newcastle but we've needed to change the location. It will now be at the home of Michael Blair at 3 Octavia Street, Narrabeen (Sydney's Northern Beaches) . The meeting will start at 11am and following the meeting will be a bbq, please bring your own meat and drinks. The beach is less than a 100m walk so all are welcome to go for a swim after the bbq - bring your swimmers if you're keen!

Sports Day - March 7
Date changed to March 7!
We're having another Sports Day at Emerton Leisure Centre (Jersey Road, Emerton) on March 7. This was originally on the Saturday but due to booking problems we've needed to change it to Sunday, 7 March. It will run from 1pm to 4pm.
For sports, we'll most likely be having badminton, basketball, boccia and indoor soccer again and as always, everyone is welcome! There is a pool at the centre so everyone is welcome to stay for a swim after the sporting events.
Entry will be $5 per person or $15 for a family. Please phone Alex Simak on 0411 034 020 by March 5 to let him know if you can make it.
Easter Picnic - March 21
We’re planning an Easter Picnic in the Parramatta area on Sunday, 21 March, 2010 but we’re still confirming the date and venue so please check the nsw.sspa.org.au website soon for updates.
Meeting - May 22
We’re having a branch meeting at Troy Parker’s house in Kings Park on Saturday 22nd May, 2010 starting at 11am.
Trivia Night - May 22
We’re planning a trivia night fund raiser for Saturday 22nd May, 2010. We’re looking into venues so please check the nsw.sspa.org.au website again soon for confirmation of the date and details of the venue.
