Welcome back everyone!

February has been a very interesting month, if for no other reason than because of the nice big snowfall we got!
I was able to go out both Thursday and Friday for a few hours and shoot some before turning into a popsickle.
Here are a few of my images that I was able to make:

There are more to be seen on my website if you would like to get a glimpse of what I got to experience.

I have been working hard at making improvements to my business, in many different areas.  One thing I was able to do was to attend a webinar about using Facebook to promote business.  I was selected to receive a free copy of a book called "The Facebook Era", by Clara Shih.  I am looking forward to reading this and applying new ideas. I have a fan page already in place and would encourage you to become a fan if you are not already.  Be on the lookout for new posts, images, and hopefully some special deals in the future!

Another thing I am doing as a first for 2010 is offering an introductory class to photography.  I have taught high school students in the past, and am already scheduled to teach at least one photography workshop this summer, but I thought I would venture into the world teaching non-high school people.  The course would cover basic camera functions, basic composition, and some things you can do to make your photos stand out from the crowd.  Ideally the course would be around $100 for a full day. In addition, I can make cameras available for an extra fee (the cost of a rental), but it is always best if students have their own cameras.
If you or anyone you know would be interested in any of those topics, please get in touch with me and we can see what dates are available.

Some of you may have noticed the main website went down for about a week due to technical difficulties.  However it is back online and fully functional again.
I am looking forward to updating it soon with some new images.  I hope you will come back and re-visit the galleries.

That's it for this month!  I hope you are all in good health and good spirits!
