Your Safety Coordinator will be making arrangements at the contest participant's hospitals to award the prizes. It's a tie! Three hospitals win the 2009 Safety Pledge Contest! We had three contestants for the 2009 Safety Pledge Contest and since they all did a great job meeting all requirements and got such high rates of safety pledges signed, all three will be awarded $2000 towards the purchase of equipment or training resources that will promote employee safety. The winners are: Lake Chelan Community Hospital with 97% pledge signatures, Dayton General Hospital with 100% pledge signatures and Mark Reed Health Care District with 92% pledge signatures. Each hospital created their own distinct and inspiring pledges, but it should be noted that in addition to signing individual pledge statements, Lake Chelan Community Hospital created a large poster (pictured) which includes their pledge statement and signatures.
