Glading Rallies Anti-ObamaCare Crowd at Andrews’ Office

HADDON HEIGHTS, NJ – Rallying a crowd of over 50 South Jerseyans who are tired of being ignored by their elected representatives, First District Congressional Candidate Dale Glading (R-Barrington) condemned Democrat Rob Andrews’s instrumental role in passing ObamaCare today in front of the Congressman’s district office.


“We’re gathered here on April Fools’ Day to send a simple but strong message to Congressman Rob Andrews and to the rest of the career politicians in Washington,” declared Glading. “And that message is this…  no one is laughing at the sick joke you call ‘health care reform.’”


Dale was joined by speakers including Michael Johns (Deptford, NJ), an American health care executive, former speech writer for George H.W. Bush, and popular conservative commentator and tea party activist; Scot DeCristofaro (Haddon Township, NJ), 2010 Republican Candidate for Camden County Freeholder; and Bob Villare, M.D. (West Deptford, NJ), a prominent local surgeon and former candidate for the New Jersey Assembly.


Glading concluded the rally by encouraging those present – and residents across the district – to take their concerns directly to Rob Andrews’ office door. Rally participants accepted Dale’s invitation; immediately following the candidate’s remarks, dozens of voters crowded into the Congressman’s office to lodge their complaints.


“Today, on April Fools’ Day, I call on you and every South Jersey resident to walk into Congressman Andrews’ office across the parking lot and tell him respectfully, but in no uncertain terms, that you’re tired of being played for a fool and that you’re not going to take it anymore,” said Glading.  “Do it for yourself, do it for your country, but most importantly, do it for your children and your children’s children.”
