Tennessee Tea Party
Upcoming Events
Greetings Patriots,
We wanted to take the opportunity to fill you all in on several events that we have planned over the coming weeks.
But first, as we are near what may well be the most important election of our lifetime we wanted to ask for your help. We need volunteers to work at as many polling places as possible on election day. If you can spare some time on Tuesday November 2nd please sign-up online here. We will soon have a page on the website with resources to download and print that can be used at polling places. These can be used to spread the word on the conservative values that we hold dear and to let people know about the work the Tennessee Tea Party is doing and what we have planned, what our values and principals are, and to get the word out about our up coming events.
Secondly, with the numerous events that we have coming up we are looking for a few folks who could donate goods or services for door prizes that we could give away. If you or someone you know might be interested in donating goods or services please let us know. Thank you!!
We hope to see you at the following events!
Nullify Now Tour
The Tennessee Tea Party joins with the Tenth Amendment Center, WeRefuse, Chattanooga Tea Party, Everyday Patriots, SURG, Tennessee Tax Revolt, State of Georgia Tea Party, McMinn County Tea Party, Cross-County Patriots, Georgia Tea Party, and the Hamilton County Campaign For Liberty in bringing the information packed Nullify Now Tour to Chattanooga.
Through historical writings, case studies, and speeches by the Founding Fathers, conservative radio host and political commentator Jack Hunter and 10 other speakers will give you a logical, moral, and constitutionally sound case for nullification, revealing:
How we can roll back Obamacare, cap and trade, and other unconstitutional expansions of federal power through nullification
Why the Founding Fathers believed that nullification was the “moderate middle ground,” not the road to secession
Why the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution gives the states the power to nullify unconstitutional laws
Why states – not the Supreme Court – should arbitrate disputes between the states and the federal government over the constitutionality of the federal government’s actions.

Why: To raise awareness to the effects of the “lame duck” session on the lives of Americans, i.e. continued increase of debt on future generations, further growth of the federal government. To emphasize the importance of being active now by vocal opposition to the “lame duck” agenda as well as continued support and being active in the “Conservative Movement”.
How: We will disseminate copies of the “lame duck” legislative calendar. Speakers will highlight the bills of concern. We will discuss the successes of the recent election victories. We will explain how complacency among conservatives is what led to the current troubles and we will present various avenues for involvement, i.e. local tea parties, 9-12 Groups, Conservative Front, etc.
