Free LearnIts this weekend!
Hi Chicago CommuniTeachers,
It is an exciting time for CommuniTeach Chicago: an awesome Learnapalooza event in Wicker Park with 77 free classes that we helped to organize along with a team of awesome volunteers, great press on Our Urban Times and the Pittsburgh City Paper, surpassing 200 Chicago users, a new homepage design, and a growing number of 1-on-1 LearnIts and Social LearnIts. And, as always, all activities are free. So let's keep the momentum going!
How? Just RSVP for one or both of the upcoming Social LearnIts we have this weekend, either as a learner or co-teacher: Want to have a Social LearnIt on a different topic? No problem! Just click here to set it up. You don't need to know the date or location immediately, and you don't even need to be the one teaching the skill. I'll help you figure out the logistics-- the key is just to set it up so people can start RSVPing! As for 1-on-1 LearnIts, just check out your own personal matches to set up some 1-on-1 sessions. Recently there have been a slew of fun 1-on-1 LearnIts, covering everything from Lovely Duct Tape Laptop Bag Making to Knitting to Photoshop etc.
