Dear ODM3 users, |
Welcome to the second ODM3 newsletter. It's of a similar format - some news of what we've been up to, plus this time we have added some workflow videos to make your lives easier. They're going to start out with basic functionality but we'll listen to your feedback so that we can improve and build upon them. Also, feel free to suggest workflows you'd like to see.

New ODM support portal |
Take a look at our new web-based ODM3 Support Desk, which gives you access to all of your organisation’s ODM3 support issues. Find it at: http://odmsupport.senergyworld.com.
The Support Desk acts as an archive of all your ODM3 support issues and lets you view your own request history, as well as that of your colleagues who also use ODM3. You can also contribute to your colleagues’ requests by adding a comment. Create a new ticket on the portal, or send an email to
ODMsupport@senergyworld.com as before - when you get a reply, you'll find a link to track your request online.

Norwegian user-group meeting |
|
September saw a gathering of Norwegian ODM3 users for a day of discussions and feedback on the software’s use. Representatives from StatoilHydro, Shell, Det Norske, GDF Suez, Talisman and Neftex met with the ODM3 programmers and staff. Clients presented talks relating to the use of ODM3 for well-planning, characterising oil sands and GIS integration. An open Q&A session was held afterwards with ODM3 staff, and all client feedback has been extremely useful. Finally, a special thanks to StatoilHydro for hosting the meeting.

There’s an online forum for ODM3 users here which we use to announce latest news and communicate with clients. We’ve posted dictionaries, scripts and GIS files for free download. You can also ask questions about the system and get a response from other users. To register, drop us a note
