Changing Everything: What Birds Dream [REMIXED] Now Available
I mentioned the Michael Jackson living tribute concert I was a part of last month. Wow. What a difference a few weeks can make. I was moved to pen a few thoughts on the passing of the king of pop on my blog here.
Things have been pretty much nonstop since the album release concert on May 29. I've been interviewed by local radio 3 times, I've been featured in local magazine press, I've performed several concerts and I've been working hard to build the press momentum that I think this project deserves. It's exciting to see where it's all leading.
REMIX Album Out Now Many of you are aware that alongside the new album What Birds Dream, I've been working on a companion project called Changing Everything: What Birds Dream [Remixed]. The album is a collaborative effort between myself and Gavin Harrison, a brilliant electronic music composer in London. Not only does the CD feature electronic, chill remixes of several songs from What Birds Dream, there's also a remix of Almost Flew from my album Okay and there's a stripped down acoustic take on Change Everything, the electronic piece from What Birds Dream. The new project Changing Everything is now available. You'll be able to download it on Itunes and get it in CD form in a couple weeks, but it's available for digital download at this link right now. I'm really excited about this project and I have a feeling it will be appreciated by people as a remix album, but I know many people will probably hear this album who don't even know the original songs. If you're still unsure, check out the songs at http://grooveshark.com. You can play the whole album for free there. Here's the first song to get you going.
Reviews and More Reviews The new album is being listened to by media outlets around the world and the reviews will be rolling in soon. Don't wait to jump on the bandwagon though. Set the standard. Be a leader. Go to iTunes or Amazon.com today and post your thoughts!
Local Shows If you're in Hong Kong, check the dates page at jeffcaylor.com/live. I'm playing twice this week and once next week with the guys in the Jeff Caylor Band. Hope to see you there!
As always, I couldn't do this with out you. Thanks for the support.
