WORS Women Spring Fling - Saturday April 17

Mark you calendars!  With the first WORS race of the season coming up in May, warmer days and sunshine are a welcome invitation to get outdoors.  We'd like to kick off the season with a fun day of riding trails, sharing food, socializing and - maybe running?! 

Spring Fling Off Road Duathlon Among the ladies this winter, there has been some interest in an offroad event that combines a short trail run and a MTB ride - so we decided to hold our own.  Our Spring Fling Duathlon will be a friendly, relatively informal event for ladies only.  We'll acknowledge times for both the run and the bike (you can choose to do only one, if you prefer).  And, we'll go one step further and challenge all duathletes to a granny-gear-only short track showdown for some fun prizes.

Let the fun begin! Games will be followed by a potluck lunch, and then an all-are-welcome group ride and skills clinics.  For those new to WORS or to racing, there will be an option to attend a "Learn to Race Clinic" led by Claire from TeamWORS.  We can also break into informal groups and enjoy the trails in whatever gear we please.  The warming shelter at Lapham Peak makes it a great choice for an early-spring gathering, and families and friends are welcome.

We kicked it in Cleveland!

WORS Women represented at Ray's Indoor MTB Park in February at Women's Weekend.  We had a great time and met Ray himself.  We are now at liberty to reveal that we are COMPLETELY AMPED about the new Ray's in Milwaukee and having seen the Plans and heard about them from the Man, we can assure you that it is going to be siiiiiick!
 

Subaru Cup

WORS Women are ready to cheer for the top Pro female XC racers in North America at the Subaru Cup Pro XCT.
