Come and get some fresh! The Weather Network is forecasting 20-30cm of fresh snow for this Thursday and Friday, and there is NO reason we shouldn't be able to fill all 3 cats on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Monday should also be good.
The nature of Spring cat skiing is that it is like surfing - you see the storm coming, you call your friends, and you grab your boards. It'll only be good for a few days before fine weather returns and the snow quality is affected by the sun, and you have to wait for the next storm. If your group is ready, even if we don't have any other bookings, we'll spark up a cat for you and go get the good stuff, right into April.
We DO have bookings, and empty seats, until 20 March, and you can call me to book yourself onto any of those seats for just $250.
Check the Weather Network, (it is for a lower elevation, so every mm of rain should be a cm of snow in the mountains), check the freezing level on Snowforecast.com to make sure that you aren't coming out right after the freezing level goes way up, and give us a call or email us and we'll tell you what it's like.
We'd like to welcome the boys from Catskiing.ca and Steve Lee from Chillfactor magazine, as they come out to Big Red Cats for the 2011 Powder Ski Test. We'll have the new powder skis from Rossignol, Movement, Line, Salomon, Crown, Head, K2, and more - if you're a ski rep and your skis haven't been mentioned, just bring some skis by Friday.
Just check our availability calendar, and book now for fresh pow! Give us a call! Paula & Kieren Gaul 250 362 2271
