Adios Adventure Travel

The year 2010 has evolved into an exciting year for Adios Adventure Travel.  Not only have we expanded our services to Ecuador and Galapagos Islands, but we changed our company name from Adventure Holidays Peru to Adios Adventure Travel.
Here are a few highlights.  July was particularly busy in Peru as we hosted 120 students from the Netherlands.  Fortunately they did not all arrive at the same time.  We were able to divide them in to smaller groups who arrived in waves.  In additon to the young people, we guided a group of hard-working older folks from the US, and organized a construction project to build a community house near Chinchero.  In Ecuador, we guided a group of 4th & 5th grade girls (and their mothers!) on an extraordinary birdwatching trip into the jungle, including a day of service in Quito that no one will forget.
Still in the hopper are an adult trip to Galapagos Islands later this year, including a trek in Cotopaxi National Park and then a group of high school students will travel to Galapagos in March, 2011.
Whether you are two people or twenty, we appreciate your business and look forward to meeting your needs, whatever they are.

Happy Birthday  Vidal!

What She Said . . I highly recommend Adios Adventure Travel.  I was part of a group of eight older travelers, aged 58 to 68 years. The food was excellent - unbelievable really, given that our chef, Jefferson, was cooking with very basic equipment.  Our guide, Juan, helped us to understand the cultural and spiritual context of the ruins that we passed along the way. Vidal arranged excellent accommodations in Cusco before the trek and in Puno after the trek. We really enjoyed participating in the wonderful festivals.  I was completely charmed by the colourful parades and costumes, the lively music and dancing, and the friendliness and welcoming attitude of all Peruvians.

Peru is a lovely place to visit and learn.  I have been all over the world, and would rank this trip as one of my favourites...............Janet McIntosh, Vancouver, Canada

Machu Picchu 100 Year Anniversary-

And doesn't look a day over 600!  "Discovered"  by Hiram Bingham, the ruins were revealed to the world officially in July, 1911.  We're planning a special 10-day tour in 2011 that starts in Lima, continues to Cusco and the Sacred Valley and ends with a two-day grand tour of the Machu Picchu ruins.
