Baby Bundles for Pitt Memorial
Looking for booties, caps or blankets for our Baby Bundle Ministry.  We’ll be assembling some more bundles to deliver to Pitt Memorial on December 2nd.  Any items you have ready ahead of time, you can give to Jan Julien or drop them off at the church office, identified for the Baby Bundle Ministry.

Hanging of the Greens
On Saturday, December 5th at 6:30 pm, we will have our Hanging of the Greens service.  Please join us as we decorate our church and prepare to celebrate the birth or our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Soup & Sandwich Fundraiser Supper
The Children’s Ministry will be hosting a Soup and Sandwich fundraiser supper on Saturday, December 5th at 5:30 p.m., prior to the Hanging of the Greens Service which begins at 6:30 pm.  Proceeds from the dinner will go to the Children’s Ministry to help pay for future needs.   To help us determine food quantities, if you will be joining us for supper, please fill out this form.

Handicap Ramp Project
Christ Community has been given the opportunity to build a handicap ramp for an elderly couple in Princeton NC.  MERCI will be providing all of the materials, so all we need to supply is the workers.  On Thursday, December 10th we will dig holes, set the posts and start cutting boards for the ramp.  On Saturday, December 12th we will frame and build the ramp.  If you are available to help, please contact Charles Hanna at 919-602-2271 or cjhanna3@yahoo.com.

Miracle Sunday
December 13 has been set aside as Miracle Sunday for Christ Community United Methodist Church.  Our worship schedule will be varied for that day.  We will have a Sunrise Service at 7:00 am which will be followed by breakfast and a prayer walk.  At 11:00 am we will have our Miracle Service which will feature “Celebrating Christmas” a selection of special music presented by the Praise Team.

Everyone is encouraged to be in prayer:

• for those whom God would have you invite – specifically for those who have left Christ Community as well as friends, neighbors, and co-workers
• for God to raise enough money through us to finish up 2009 in the black

American Red Cross Blood Drive - January 9, 2010
We did so well the first time, we are doing it again!  Not only do we need blood donors, but we need volunteers to help throughout the day.  Please consider how you can contribute to another successful event.  Fill out this form if you are interested in helping!
