Preschool Registration
Preschool Registration has begun.  If you are a member of CCUMC or you regularly attend CCUMC and you want to register your child for the 2010 – 2011 school year, please contact Priscilla Holtzhauser.  Registration opens to the public 2/15/2010.

Consignment Sale Fundraiser
We will be collecting items for the Johnston County Carolina Kids Consignment sale starting February 7.  We are looking for gently-used items.  If you would like to price and tag items yourself, tags will be available that morning.  Tagging instructions can be found at www.carolinakidsconsignment.com.  Items that you want to be tagged for you can be placed in the lobby across from the kitchen entrance and they will be priced and tagged later. We are limited to selling one vehicle load of items.  In order to make the most of this opportunity no large items can be accepted.  For details/guidelines on items you can consign, visit their website.  Contact Kris Carter for more information.

New Beginnings Casserole, Bake & Craft Sale
The New Beginnings Ministry will be having a Casserole, Bake & Craft Sale on Sunday, February 14 before and after the worship services.  The proceeds will go to the church general fund.  If you are willing to donate items, please fill out this form.  For more information, please contact Karen Freeman.

Ann White invites you to A Golden Opportunity
Do you have gold jewelry you no longer want or wear?  Would you like more CASH to give the church without taking it out of your budget?  Do you have gold jewelry that is broken or missing parts?  These can be turned into cash which can be donated toward the church budget.  “The Gold Gal”, Janice DeRosa, will be at Ann White’s home, 2004 Buckskin Dr in the Landmark subdivision on Saturday, February 13th from 3 – 5 pm.  Janice pays top dollar and most stones can be removed and returned to you.  If you are unable to attend but would like to sell some items anyway, items can be place in a Zip-lock bag marked with your name and phone number and Ann will have the items checked for you.

Children's Time Ministry Opportunity

Women’s Ministry Opportunity
After leading the Women’s Ministry for several years now, Amy White and Patty Eller have decided to step down.  These years of leading the Women’s Ministry were very rewarding and a tremendous blessing for both of them and now they have decided it is time to step aside and let someone else receive the rewards and blessings of this ministry.  Amy and Patty will be more than happy to answer any questions and to help with the transition.  The retreat date and house have already been reserved for this year.  The Redwine House has been reserved for the weekend of Oct. 8th – 10th, 2010.  If anyone is interested in taking over this ministry please contact the church office.
