Comcast On Demand - ATL365 Recommends

Charles RecommendsMonty Python: Almost The Truth

Monty Python Almost the Truth: The Lawyer's Cut

For those of you with IFC, I recommend checking out the six-part documentary on the influential, irreverant and ground breaking comedy troupe known as Monty Python. Creating memorable comedy sketches and films that were hilarious, scathing satires of British life and human absurdity, Python forever altered the comedic landscape of the UK and the United States. The Beatles conquered America with music, Python did it with dead parrots and dressing in drag.

AntichristLast week Dan recommended Antichrist as his On Demand pick. This week "the most shocking film in the history of the Cannes Film Festival” opens at Landmark Midtown Art Cinema. Starring William Dafoe as He and Charlotte Gainsbourg as She, check out this film for yourself and decide.

Chris Nielsen: I need Annie.
Albert: That'll change in time.
Chris Nielsen: Oh, come on Einstein! Time's not on my watch anymore. Time does not exist here. And wherever it went, it's not going to make me need Annie any less.
