Draft Voluntary Planning Agreement – Southern Kurnell Peninsula

Two resident forums are being held to gauge community opinion. You are invited to come along and find out more and share your views.

To be held on Thursday 28 January 2010 in Sutherland:

·      6.30PM – 8PM

Council is currently exhibiting a draft voluntary planning agreement (VPA) covering approximately 124 hectares of land owned by Australand Kurnell Pty Ltd and Breen Holdings Pty Ltd (the Developers) on the southern portion of the Kurnell Peninsula.

It provides for the staged transfer of open space and conservation land to council by the Developers, at no cost to council.  This is an area approximately two thirds the size of Centennial Park.

The VPA is an agreement between council and the owners of the land. It sets out how the land will be constructed, acquired and managed.
