Council is about to embark on a comprehensive consultation and engagement program to gauge the community’s views about an infrastructure levy. This infrastructure levy has been proposed by council to replace and upgrade the Shire’s ageing infrastructure. It was endorsed by council on Monday 16 November 2009, and consultation will continue through January 29^th 2010.

The Mayoral Minute and details of the infrastructure levy are to be found in a second email that you will receive shortly.

By providing your views through the Your Shire, Your Say Residents’ Panel, council hopes to receive your invaluable feedback about this process.
