a Defiant Bean correspondence to keep you in the loop If you are reading The Buzz, then a “thank you” is in order. Since firing up Black Lightning (our roaster) in late July, we have been working to spread the goodness of fresh roasted, high-grade coffee beans to the greater Roaring Fork Valley area and locations around the state and across the country. Thank you all for your excitement, your orders, your feedback and your appreciation for fresh roasted coffee. We are excited to introduce our recurring order program for you dedicated coffee junkies out there. Despite the ease of ordering online, it can still be a hassle to remember to get in front of your computer and order up as you grind away the last of the beans in your current bag. Recurring orders allow for ease in billing while still giving you the ability to change up your order from week to week. For those of you in our delivery area, sign up for three months’ delivery and we’ll waive the delivery fee! If you wish to spread the fresh roasted love to a friend or family member, just use the appropriate page on our website. For gifts locally, use your payment information, but enter the address of the recipient for delivery. Same story if you want your gift coffee to be shipped, enter your billing information in the appropriate field and the recipient’s name and address in the shipping field. At any time leave us a note in the comment field of an order or contact us and we’ll get back to you quickly. The snow in the high peaks this morning makes the changing foliage appear all the more vibrant; we’ve turned the corner toward another winter. For this coming season we will soon be adding a new blend to our line-up. Keep an eye out for this as well as other additions to the Defiant Bean movement. Embrace the change and drink up!
