First, let me be honest... this is my first newsletter for GSG. I'm sure the format of this thing will change over time. I'm glad that you're all here to start it off with me. With that said, let me tell you what I have planned for the GSG Mail.

  • Links to important posts on GSG

  • Future Five Second Projects themes and prizes
  • Tips and tricks only available to subscribers. Because, let's face it, you deserve it.

Five Second Projects Gets it's own site and a Photography Section

The Five Second Projects have been collecting some really great work lately. If you haven't seen them, check out some of the latest work including. "Summer In Space" and "Old Video Games". If you haven't found the time or the will to make your own, check out the "Six Reasons Why YOU Should Join the Five Second Projects." Things are so popular that the Five Second Projects are getting their own site. look soon for fivesecondprojects.com where we will host all of the existing and future projects. We will also be adding photography based projects for all of you photographers.

Photoshop For Photographers

I have been working on my first training product that will be for sale on GreyscaleGorilla. Don't worry, there will always be plenty of free training on the site. I made a package of training for those that are looking to dig deeper into the tools and the technique. My first product will be called "Photoshop For Photographers." Well, that's not the final name, but I'll figure that out soon. Any suggestions for a good name?

The training will focus on workflow based tutorials that focus on how to make your photos look great. I will be going though the workflow of organizing your photos, batch processing, color correcting, fixing problem areas, and much much more. I'm even including GreyscaleGorilla Photoshop Actions for you to use on your own photos. I'm really excited. The best part is, readers of the GSG Mail will get an early notice when the training is up.

I Need Beta Testers!

Can't wait for the training? You're in luck... I am looking for a couple of people to test out my training before I release it to the public. Send me an email with a sentence or two about why you want to beta test my training, and I will pick two (maybe three, who knows) people to download a free copy of the training early and give me some feedback.
