3 Bible Tips for Godly Leaders
1. Leaders must be just and rule in the fear of God.
Among King David's last words he shared God's expectation of leaders:
"The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spoke to me: 'He who rules over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God'" (2 Samuel 23:3).
2. Teachers will receive a stricter judgment.
"My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment" (James 3:1).
3. Leaders are called to serve—to follow Christ's example of selfless service.
"But Jesus called them to Himself and said, 'You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them. Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave—just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many'" (Matthew 20:25-28).
