3 Bible Tips: God's Calling
God's calling is His personal invitation to you to have a close relationship with Him. 1. God must start the process of calling us. "No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day" (John 6:44). 2. God's holy calling is a vital part of His plan. God "has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began" (2 Timothy 1:9). 3. We must be diligently doing our part to respond to God's calling. "Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble" (2 Peter 1:10).
