3 Bible Tips: A Way That Seems Right
1. Just because something seems right, doesn't mean it is right.
"There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death" (Proverbs 14:12; this is so important it is also repeated in Proverbs 16:25).
2. We can look to and trust God's words in the Bible and not have to rely on our own understanding.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6).
3. We should follow God's way, the narrow way. (It's a road less traveled...)
"Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it" (Matthew 7:13-14).
