Roses underwater. oil on paper. 76x56cm $1,999 Graduating from university in England, Jeremy Holton began is working life as: a town planner in the UK; GeoIogist in East Africa and Australia; an IT executive in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth; and as a Director of IT consulting for Ernst & Young.
After graduating from Claremont School of Art, Western Australia with a Diploma of Art, Jeremy, in 1994, held his first solo exhibition, of Pilbara landscapes, at Woodside Petroleum in Perth and then in Karratha.
Since then, Jeremy has continued to hold highly successful annual exhibitions through out Western Australia, Melbourne, Adelaide, Cairns and the USA.
Jeremy's artwork is immediately recognisable due to his bold colours, texture and strong style. Jeremy works mainly in oil on canvas, but also will use pastels and inks on paper.
Jeremy's subject matter consists primary of landscapes and townscapes, which capture to colours and contrasts of Australia, together with figurative works and flower studies.
Jeremy's work is represented in many private and public collections, both in Australia and Internationally.
