A big hello to everyone, but especially those people we met at the Silicon Valley New Tech Meet-up last night. A huge thank you to Vinnie for allowing us to present Hollrr in front of our largest crowd to date. We were thrilled with the reaction... sorry we couldn't get to talk with everyone at the end of the night. For those that missed it, a videocast of the meet-up is available on UStream.com.
Okay, enough chit-chat... now it's time for this week's Hot Hollrrs list... Hot Hollrrs
Is a new way to enjoy music. No restrictions in terms of what you can listen to or when. Spotify allows you to share songs and playlists with friends, and even work together on collaborative playlists.
David:Everyone in the UK raves about this. I played with it last time I was home, and loved it. Similar to Pandora but more control and better social sharing.... hoping it makes it out here to the US soon.
PhoneTag automatically converts your voicemail into text and delivers it directly to your mobile phone and/or your email account; so you can read your voicemail.
Jenny:I hate checking voice mail. Phonetag makes it so much easier just to look at a text and quickly know what a caller wants.
Maile: This is a great website with tons of really unique handmade things; jewelry to clothing to housewares to furniture. They even have a category, 'geekery'. Great gift ideas, really affordable and fun!
A new concept consignment sport equipment store - online and with a physical presence. 1567 Pacific Ave. in San Francisco, CA.
Adrienne:Great idea, solving a need for buying and selling used sporting goods. I love that you can shop online in real-time, then go into the store to see and try the goods before buying.
We had a blast meeting loads of people at the SV New Tech Meet-up last night. Wanna give a special shout-out to Perrine Crampton... thank you for interviewing me, and giving me a chance to talk about Hollrr. I look forward to watching the rest of the videos as they are published.
