Click here for details of this year's event CAN WE HELP? Gordon Studio Featured on TV. When Peter Rowsthorn and his team from the popular show "Can we help" were asked about glassblowing recently, they came to us. Peter was game enough to have a go at glassblowing on camera and we had a lot of fun with him and the crew in the process. We have been told the show will go to air on ABC1, 6.30pm Friday September 25th. A POOL FENCE OF HANDBLOWN GLASS! Grant's most ambitious sculpture completed. This exciting commission sits in a beautifully landscaped native garden overlooking Port Phillip Bay. The unique collaboration between Grant and his visionary client is simply quite stunning. The art work has taken nearly six months to complete and is a great example of the contemporary landscape possibilities of the medium. The gently meandering pool fence and its gate are made of 200 steel poles, each capped with individually hand blown clear glass "pods". The event, which we are attending, takes place during "Luminato", a week-long celebration, described as "an unparalleled and innovative forum where artists will come together with others from local and international creative communities, exchange ideas and find inspiration."
