Nutro has yet ANOTHER food recall! Fort the second time in several months Nutro has recalled some of it's products. The first time was in May of this year when some cat foods were found to have dangerous levels of zinc and under supplemented potassium. Then they announce yesterday that a worker's hardhat made it into the machinery and INTO bags of puppy food! http://www.nutroproducts.com/press.shtml My biggest question is this.... at what point did the worker realize that his hardhat had fallen off and into the machinery? Perhaps THEN would have been a good time to halt the production. Not AFTER the food left the facility and made it onto shelves and into our pet's bodies.If you or a friend feeds their pet(s) Nutro...please call the company and complain about the recent activities! Only this way will they make improvements to their QC process.

These foods will be added as we receive them. If you are interested in RAW or BARF (Bones and Raw Foods) style diets, we would be happy to discuss the potential logistics of such deliveries. If there is a food you would like but it isn't listed yet, please drop us a line at info@luckydogorganics.com and let us know what brand, type it is and we will ask our distributors for it. Keep in mind that $1 from every bag goes to the cost of a bag for a needy pet! A family shouldn't have to choose to give up their pet because of the recession!
