It is hard to believe that summer has just started. It's hot, hot, hot here in D.C. and I'm all ready pining for the coolness of fall. But before we can start thinking about soup again, there is plenty of pottery events taking place.

DINING IN: III (HOUSTON, TEXAS)
August 7 through August 29th
Last fall I started making dinnerware - a tougher feat than you might think. I was really happy with my most recent batch, and it seems that the great team at 18 Hands Gallery in Houston, Texas was similarly impressed. I will have three entries at this third annual dinner ware show.
The opening reception is August 7th. The show runs through the end of August. For more information, visit www.18handsgallery.com
