Dunk the Vote!
Or, I should say, Dunk the Candidate, Board and Staff Member! Come to the Summer Street Party on June 23rd to meet, talk and DUNK the Vote!
Here's how it works: for every ballot cast, you will receive two balls to try your luck - er, um, I mean skill - at dropping present and future People's people into the dunk tank. Of course, you can only vote once - that is the beauty of Cooperative Democracy, One Share = One Vote - so if you or your housemates want to try again, you can earn two balls by making a $2 donation to the People's Cooperative Community Fund (PCCF).
Election season begins next week, with ballots arriving in your mailboxes. They are inside your Summer Issue of Grassroots. In this issue, you will find bios of the board candidates & community organizations up to receive a donation from the PCCF, and your ballot - which is printed ON the inside of a no postage necessary envelope. I don't think it can get any easier than that - just choose your candidates and favorite organizations, write the primary shareholders name and member-owner number, sign it and send it! Again - No Postage Necessary!
