There are many ways to get your website promoted but some of the simplest ways are often overlooked. When considering where to spend your time and money, keep in mind that Google was used for 66.8% of searches in 2009 (source:comScore). To make sure Google has seen your website just submit it to them. You can fill out the short form here on Google and then voila...your site is submitted.

Yahoo! rates second, and Microsoft's Bing is gaining in prominence. Submit your site to them as well - it only takes a moment - Yahoo! link and Bing link.

Much to my surprise and delight, HOW Magazine chose my entry for their "Why I Became A Designer" article. Not only was it chosen, it was featured! Numero Dos on the list! You can read it too at How.com.

The Freebies Continue
