Marketing schmarketing! I received an email last month from The Marketing Mentor with an offer of a PDF booklet entitled "31 Tips and Tricks for New Entrepreneurs". I downloaded the PDF right away. I was not disappointed.
All 31 tips are helpful and reinvigorating, but the one that stuck out most to me was #2: If you lack the confidence for self-promotion, fake it.
Sometimes we're guilty of sounding apologetic for bothering people with the services we have to offer. Instead we should be confident that what we have to offer will add value to their company.
I truly believe that what I have to offer you and any prospective client is indeed valuable. I know for a fact that I am a born designer, a holistic thinker and a great asset to any advertising and marketing plan my clients are in need of.
Now, I just need to remind myself of this everyday :)

Is Your Website Stale?
You know what can happen when bread goes stale right? It gets tough and eventually produces mold.
So, with that in mind, what is your website producing?
If you don't change things or update information every couple months, the site is viewed as stale. Search engines are not attracted to stale sites. Your site will get less and less visibility the longer you leave it unattended to. The search engines will basically "weed" you out.
So get to updating! The more the merrier.
