Dr. Katy featured in Mountain Xpress
Asheville businesswomen were the focus of a roundtable discussion hosted by the Mountain Xpress recently. The women, Shannon Knapp of Horse Sense of the Carolinas, Jennifer Lauzon of LaZoom tours, Lucretia Piercy of Small Business Accountin Services of Aheville, Maggie Brand, VP of the Sky-Hy Chapter of the American Business Women's Association, and our very own Dr.Katy, discussed a wide variety of topics, including being in business as a woman and doing business in Asheville.
"What an honor to be surrounded by such strong, warm women," said Dr. Katy. "Asheville has really opened its arms to me and Dr. Ted and I feel very proud to have been part of the article."

More ways children benefit from chiropractic care
It is important to note that chiropractic is not the treatment of conditions and is rather the restoration of normal body function. In that light, read some current research showing how chiropractic care has restored function in those with the following conditions:

Hoop Jam Fun for Bright Side Clients
Every Tuesday night this summer, Asheville Hoops sponsored the "Hoop Jam" - a free hula hooping dance party at Pritchard Park. Luckily, the Bright Side was able to join in the fun for the last jam of the season!
"Hula hooping is great exercise for the brain, because of the coordinated movement and balance involved," says Dr. Ted. "Not to mention, it's pretty fun!"
While the hoop jam has ended for this season, we're looking forward to next June and hope you'll jam with us!
